Q
How to estimate carpet material loss?
Loss rates depend on room shape and carpet type.
1. Carpet tiles/solid color roll carpet: If the room is square, you usually only need to reserve about 5% for loss.
2. Printed carpet: Due to the need to adjust the flowers and consider pattern circulation, it is usually recommended to reserve 10%-20% for loss. We will calculate the most accurate usage for you based on your actual floor plan.
Q
Will the carpet seams be obvious?
Seams are unavoidable in large-area paving, but we will use professional processes (precise alignment, hot-melt splicing) and arrange the seams in inconspicuous places (such as under furniture) to make them almost "invisible" from normal viewing angles.
Q
Can you provide free sample reference?
Can. You can go to our showroom to select samples, or contact us to send us a free carpet sample card for your color reference.
Q
Are there cleaning or maintenance services?
After paving, we will perform basic cleaning. If you need in-depth whole-house vacuuming or steam cleaning, it is a value-added service and requires additional charges. Please inquire for specific prices.
Q
Is there any smell after installation? Can it be used immediately?
Carpet tiles use environmentally friendly glue and can be used immediately after being laid; full-cover carpets can be walked on after being laid, but it is recommended to let them sit for a few hours before returning heavy furniture to ensure that the carpet is smooth and stable.
Q
What items are typically included in a carpet installation quote?
The standard quotation includes: 1. Main material fee; 2. Accessory material fee (glue/underlay/edging strips, etc.); 3. Labor fee; 4. Other costs (such as additional items such as demolition/transportation/ground repair, etc.).
Q
Do you offer an "install only" service (I bring my own carpet)?
supply. You only need to provide the carpet type (roll/square), area, ground condition and location, and we can calculate the labor hours and provide you with a "pure labor installation" quotation.
Q
Is the cost of construction at night the same as during the day?
will vary. Night construction (usually after 6 p.m.) involves overtime pay for workers, and labor costs will increase. The specific cost depends on the volume of the project, please contact customer service for details.
Q
Can you arrange for a master to come to your home for measurement? Are there any charges?
If you choose our paving service, we can arrange for experienced masters to come and measure for free. After accurately calculating the loss, we will provide you with an accurate quotation to eliminate hidden consumption.
Q
Can I specify the direction of carpet tiles?
Can. We will construct according to the design requirements. Common paving methods include: paving along the grain (visually unified and neat) or checkerboard style/staggered horizontally and vertically (increasing the sense of three-dimensionality and design).
Q
What is the difference between carpet tiles and wall-to-wall carpet? Which one is suitable for the office?
Carpet tiles: highly flexible, easy to transport and install, and can be replaced individually if partially soiled, making them the first choice for offices with high traffic.
Wall-to-wall carpet: strong sense of integrity, seamless and comfortable, often used in hotels or high-end clubs. Carpet tiles are often preferred in offices due to lower maintenance costs and ease of network cabling.
Q
What are the differences between wall-to-wall carpeting and carpet tile installation methods?
Full-covered carpets need to be fixed with wooden spikes, stretched with tensioners, and the seams are spliced with hot melt tape;
Carpet tiles are laid directly with special glue and must be constructed strictly in the direction of the arrow (laying along the way/checkerboard laying) to ensure uniform texture.
Q
How will the edges (closing) of the carpet be handled?
We will choose a professional closing method based on the material: professional closing strips (such as stainless steel/wooden strips) are used for carpets that touch stone; aluminum alloy closing strips are used to smooth the transition between carpets and carpets (with height differences) to prevent tripping.
Q
Should carpet tiles be installed with all-purpose glue or environmentally friendly glue?
We always use environmentally friendly pressure-sensitive adhesive (self-adhesive). Compared with the pungent-smelling all-purpose glue, environmentally friendly glue has no pungent smell and is healthier. It is easy to lift when replacing carpets in the future and will not damage the floor.
Q
How long does carpet installation take?
Depends on size and environment: a regular room can usually be completed in a few hours; a large office or area with stairs may take 1 or several days. We will issue a schedule in advance to try not to affect your normal work.
Q
Do your products meet fire retardant standards?
Safety is our bottom line. All our products (including wool carpets, printed carpets and carpet tiles) have passed international fire retardant tests (such as BS 4790 standards) and are widely used in large-scale construction projects and Grade A office buildings. Please feel free to use them.
Q
Do you provide customization services for anti-slip carpets (such as specific sizes or logos)?
supply. We can customize according to the commercial space layout:
1. Full customization: cut and lock edges according to actual size and corner shape;
2. Logo floor mat: Supports the implantation of company logo or specific patterns to enhance corporate image.
Q
What are the main factors to consider when choosing office carpets?
It is recommended to consider from four dimensions:
1. Material (nylon is chosen for high traffic, polypropylene is chosen for limited budget);
2. Cleanliness (stain-resistant, high-density styles are preferred);
3. Beautiful (matches the decoration style);
4. Budget (pursuing the best cost-effectiveness).
Q
Can printed carpets or wool carpets be customized in specified colors?
Can. Wool carpets support full customization (color/pattern/size); printed or tile carpets are available in stock colors. If you need to customize a specific color (dyed), there is usually a minimum order quantity requirement (from about 500-1000 square meters).
Q
Is there a warranty on the product and installation?
We provide comprehensive after-sales service: 1-year product warranty (for manufacturing defects) and 3-6 months installation warranty (for workmanship problems). Man-made damage is not included.
