KUDOS Airport Project Wonder Eggshell

Wonder Eggshell is a children's play facility specially designed for kids aged 6 to 12 inside Hong Kong International Airport. It is located in the East Hall on Level 6 (Departures Level) of Terminal 1, near boarding gates 10 and 11.

The main structure is shaped like a giant eggshell. The interior features a large climbing rope net, slides, and curved mesh tunnels, with colorful ribbons suspended from above. In addition to the climbing area, there is a bird-themed interactive zone where floor-mounted touch screens introduce various bird species and imitate their calls, adding extra fun to the play experience.

For the Wonder Eggshell project, considering the exceptionally high safety requirements of children's play areas, Chung's Carpets specifically selected eco-friendly, non-toxic, wear-resistant materials that offer excellent cushioning and anti-slip properties. The patterns and colors of the carpet not only perfectly complement the vibrant and playful visual design inside the eggshell, but its soft texture also fully guarantees the children's safety as they run, jump, climb, and explore.

This is not the first collaboration between Chung's Carpets and Hong Kong International Airport. Previously, Chung's has supplied and installed carpets for multiple passenger waiting areas within the airport, as well as for the MTR Airport Express train cabins and airport educational zones. Every inch of the carpet's splicing and installation has undergone rigorous testing and meticulous refinement to ensure seamless, flat edges and eliminate any potential hazards. Through professional craftsmanship and innovative design concepts, they strive to provide every traveler arriving in Hong Kong with a wonderful and comfortable experience.
